About the Journal

Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems (CIMS) is a prominent Chinese monthly journal established in 1995, focusing on the research, development, and application of CIMS. Sponsored by the National High-Tech R&D Program and Institute No. 210, CNGC, it serves as a key platform for disseminating advanced manufacturing technology in China. The journal includes reviews, research papers, expert forums, enterprise practices, and dynamic information on policies, trends, research outcomes, and academic activities related to CIMS.

Initially launched as a quarterly publication, CIMS quickly gained recognition, being indexed in the Ei Compendex database by its first year. Over the years, it expanded its frequency, content, and international indexing, becoming a monthly journal by 2001. It has consistently maintained high standards, with contributions from over 300 expert editors and a strong focus on integrating scientific research with practical applications.

CIMS is widely recognized and indexed in several databases, including Chinese Journals website, Wanfang Data, Chinese Science Journals (CD edition), Chinese Science Citation Database, and Chinese Science Journals Abstracts.
